 Palestinian Foreign Ministry has called on international community to fulfil duties on stopping Israel to build new accommodation units in West Bank.
In a written statement on Wednesday, Palestinian MFA calls on the Quartet of Middle East peacemakers _ the European Union, United States, Russia and United Nations _ for an emergency meeting to discuss Israel's new accommodation units plan in West Bank.
The statement said that constructing a new hotel in Shafafa and new residential area under "Cebat Hamtus" project in West Bank were sings of challenge to international peace.
The statement also said that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sent a message to Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In the statement Abbas said the project would overshadow international peace.
Meantime President Abbas calls on Islamic world to oppose against Israel's Jerusalem project.
