The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday said that they were receiving signals indicating Iran's participation in nuclear negotiations in Istanbul on Saturday with ideas.
Speaking to reporters following a meeting of the G-8 foreign ministers, Clinton said that the nuclear negotiations to take place between the P5+1 countries (Five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) and Iran in Istanbul on Saturday came up during today's meeting.
We do hope that the negotiations would lead to results and help create a lasting process, Clinton stressed.
Iran must show with acts that they have left their desire for a nuclear weapon, Clinton underlined.
The window for diplomacy with Iran is open but will not remain so forever, Clinton also said.
