Turkish Airlines today announced special round trip pricing on direct flights from Los Angeles, CA, the Airline’s newest U.S. gateway, to Istanbul, Turkey, and other Turkish Airlines’ destinations countrywide.

Dubbed the “Early Bird Special,” round trip flights from Los Angeles’ LAX to Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport are just $599.00. Tickets from Los Angeles to Ankara and Izmir are only $669.00 round trip. All other destinations in Turkey from Los Angeles’ LAX are just $719.00 round trip. These prices include all fuel surcharges and taxes.

In addition, Turkish Airlines, which just introduced service from Los Angeles to Istanbul in March 2011, is adding a fifth daily flight from LAX to Atatürk Airport on Wednesdays beginning August 31st, 2011. The Airline will offer daily flights from Los Angeles to Istanbul beginning March 26th, 2012.

A pioneer in the aviation industry and a member of the Star Alliance network since April 1, 2008, Turkish Airlines is known for its impeccable service, flight safety and connectivity worldwide. From the U.S., Turkish Airlines offers non-stop direct flights from Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Washington D.C. Flights from Los Angeles are flown on Turkish Airlines’ brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flights offer Turkish Airlines’ legendary Business Class with gourmet cuisine prepared on-board by the brand’s famed “Flying Chef” as well as the Airline’s new Comfort Class and award-winning Economy class cabins.

At the World Airline Awards in June, Skytrax, a world recognized brand associated with air travel excellence in the 21st century, named Turkish Airlines “Best Airline Europe,” “Best Premium Economy Seats” for its all-new Comfort Class and “Best
Airline Southern Europe.” The awards were based on a 10-month consumer satisfaction survey in which 18.8 million airline customers participated.

Turkish Airlines has its global headquarters in Istanbul, a gateway between east and west that allows visitors an unrivaled glimpse into world history, the chance to experience one of Eurasia’s most cosmopolitan destinations and a hub for travel to other cities in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
