After the meeting with U.S. Vice President Mike Pence at the White House earlier on a same day, Yildirim and the Turkish delegation left to New York.

As his second meeting in New York, Yildirim then came together with the representatives from leading U.S. companies including Pepsico, UPS, Raytheon, Coca Cola, GE Aviation, Credit Suisse, Accenture, Motorola, Amazon, Citi Group, Deutsche Bank and IBM.

The development of economic and commercial relations between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.

Yildirim is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu, Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, AK Party Group Vice President Mehmet Mus, AK Party Istanbul Deputies Volkan Bozkir and Mustafa Sentop, Turkey's Ambassador to the UN Feridun Sinirlioglu, Washington Ambassador Serdar Kiliç, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarciklioglu and President of Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT) Arda Ermut.
