Yasemin Adar becomes first ever female wrestler from Turkey to win gold in 75-kilogram category at World Championships 2017

Yasemin Adar became first ever female wrestler from Turkey to win gold at the World Championships 2017 in Paris Wednesday, according to the championships' official website.

Adar beat Belarus’ Vasilisa Marzaliuk in the 75-kilogram (165-pound) category in the final match.

Twenty-five-year-old Adar beat Marzaliuk 5-4 on the third day of the games.
