Greg Pepin, president of Boeing-Turkey, said on Friday that his company was looking for other Turkish companies to manufacture parts. Pepin, speaking at a news conference, said they continued to work despite the crisis, noting that Turkish companies were as strong as rock. He said 20 Turkish companies were manufacturing parts for Boeing. He said Boeing programs had been providing job opportunities for more than 1,000 people in Turkey. Pepin said he saw a very big potential in Turkey, indicating that Turkey developed very much in terms of industry and technology. "Win-win situation is in question for both parties. We will grow together," he noted. Pepin said defense project of Boeing in Turkey mounted to 1.2 billion USD, "this project started in 2003 and will be concluded in 2013. It provides employment opportunity for 1,000 people," he said. Pepin said Boeing would provide some several hundred millions of dollars business volume within three years.
